We do quarter calls for the Elements and I decided to design visual markers for each one.
Each marker will be placed in a bucket of sand to stabilize it and correspondence for each will be placed on the small table. Totally portable which makes it ideal.
I am grateful for my artistic abilities and that my brother brought me a miter for Yule one year.
New Moon Meditation Journey and stirring up the energies with drums, Paiste Gong, Crystal Sing Bowl and Chimes.
Instruments to play drums, gong and chimes.
I am one happy participant, the experience was totally awesome.
My altar setup with my new drum at the bottom. Can’t wait to use it during this ceremony. Each elemental has a correspondence and crystal. My little moon cake and ritual drink. I made my wand from an Ash tree and it has four crystals embedded in it (sorry this pic does not show it. My list of what I want to draw into my life on a 3 x 5 index card, and my BOS.
Better picture of my wand.
This is the first time I used a drum for New Moon ritual. It added so much energy to the ceremony – John Lundy did a really great job making it to my specifications. The tone is excellent, as good as a larger drum. Loving it.
A poem for Beltane
By Terry Moore
Maypole – the symbol of spring, the warmth of the sun – flowers it will bring
Dancers sway and weave, Bringing renewal and fertility it’s believed
Festivals with May Queen and King, Representing the God and Goddess and the blessings they bring
Beltane fires with flames so high, The winter season has begun to die
As the Maypole signifies spring, Celebrate all the beauty this season brings
Purification with sage before entering the sacred circle.
Waiting for ceremony to begin
Element of Air (each elemental station has altar setup with appropriate corresponding colors.
Element of Water. I just love the blue colors.
Burning of the Yule log.
Gathering for the Maypole dance. The kids love this.
Potluck to follow ritual. Good food, good company, and good conversations.
I attended this event and truly enjoyed myself. It is not SBS however they do things similar to how we do rituals. It is always nice to network, attend, and experience how other groups do their holiday celebrations.
