Singing bowls all with the right vibration for each Chakra. Beautiful sounds when played together
Entrance to the Medicine Wheel where one can walk around and meditate
Center of Medicine Wheel where a huge crystal sits on top and also has crystal hearts placed around the top.
This is the fire pit. We sure enjoyed the warmth of the fire as the evening temps got a bit chilly. This is also where we held the drumming circle after Full Moon / Earth Day Ceremony
The mini Stone Hedge. Can’t wait to see it in full bloom come summer.
It’s all about detain ….. look how the branches are placed along the top of the fence. Also you can see that you can follow the path and walk through the whole sacred space as you do a walking meditation
The Yin / Yang of things ….. beautifully done
The four elements (Earth, Air, Fire and Water) have their own spot. Sorry to say I did not capture them all with picture. Next time for sure.
It’s all about LOVE ……
A lovely bird bath for the winged ones.
The Full Moon Ceremony was delightful. We also gave honor to Mother Earth. We followed that by a drumming circle at the fire pit. The one item I did not get a picture was a huge drum that was played ( it sat on the deck). We also enjoyed rattles. Spirit was entertained with sound for sure. We meditated at the fire pit however some chose to do a walking meditation. Eventually we finished up and headed into the house for a delicious potluck.
What a awesome celebration with fantastic people. Thanks Bob for providing such a lovely spot to come together with Mind, Body and Spirit.
This is a drum that was made for me. I chose not to have any Native American artwork or symbols put on it so I had him put my Buddha Girl drawing I made on my drum. The drum is approximately 9 inches in diameter – my choice to have it smaller that the standard 10 inch drum. It will be perfect for rituals and for meditation. It has an awesome sound for its size. Thank you John Lundy for your drum making skill. Love it.
Being your own unique self is pure beauty. As Maya Angelou states “Phenomenal Woman That’s Me” …. I am Phenomenal Woman. My spiritual path is Pagan. I know that scares the heck out of many however that is their fears not mine. My path is my path and I don’t expect others to understand why – what I do expect is that they allow me to be who I am supposed to be. I am grateful I live where I have a choice.
If you don’t like what you have, do, be, know, think, say ect then change. We are able to change. Stop being so hard on yourself – we all make mistakes. Be open to change, embrace change. Be the person that you want to be not the person that others want you to be.
I love reading quotes from Dr. Seuss. When I read this Youer than You quote I knew I had to create a picture to go along with it. Some days you just have to be your own best friend and dress, act, say and be who you want to be ….. Yourer than You! I admire people that have the guts to be their authentic self …. to have their own style, own thoughts, and can dance to their own beat. Yup – this is who I have been for many years and I find people either really like me or not. Doesn’t matter because I am comfortable being who I am. I like who I am.
Over the years I have learned how important it is to stay around people that are positive and uplifting. Negative energy sucks the life right out of me. We all have times when the stress and negativity soaks right in and hits our core making us feel awful. We have 2 choices – be positive or be negative – I work hard at staying positive. I try to find some good in situations and believe me sometimes it is really difficult to achieve this goal.
I chose to be around people that build me up, support me, instead of hanging around people that make me feel worthless. You have a choice who you hang around with – stay positive my friend.
I make it a practice to meditate almost everyday. I might manage 20 minutes and at other times it is only 5 minutes. When I catch myself getting caught up in societies negativity I have to remind myself to not take it personal and to just breathe. By concentrating on my breathing I eventually calm down and let the tension go.
While I meditate I envision each chakra rebalancing. Yes stress does knock the flow right out of us.
