I read an article and this really resonated with me:
In 1965 composer and musician Bob Dylan released a song “The Times They Are A-Changing”. It became an anthem for frustrated youth and the anti-embellishment feelings of many who later would become hippies. Today, that title applies to the older, and even the oldest generation in the U. S. . The song might be considered the new anthem for older adults who refuse to accept age-old stereotypes. ~Helen Dennis~
In my eyes Baby Boomers are again leading the way to much needed changes today. We won’t be shoved off into a corner and treated as if we don’t have the sense to come in out of the rain. We are demanding respect and the right to be counted as productive members of society.
